Senior Compliance Specialist – FAIS and Insurance (Financial Services) A reputable financial services group has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Compliance Specialist – FAIS and Insurance.
Position Overview: The Senior Compliance Specialist: FAIS and Insurance is responsible for assisting in developing and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with regulations/legislation affecting the business of the Group and advising internal business units on how to meet compliance requirements.
The role also leads complaints received from the clients, regulators, and different ombuds; and pursues corrective actions; and notify authorities as necessary.
Additionally, the Senior Compliance Specialist: FAIS and Insurance ensures business units stay informed on changes to all related regulations and assists and supports the Senior Manager – Regulatory Compliance as and when required.
Key Responsibilities: Developing, implementing, and managing the group compliance program.Relationship with the relevant regulatory bodies.Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance Issues.Training and awareness.Qualifications and Experience: A completed Bachelor of Laws (LLB) plus a relevant Compliance Management Certificate.RE 1 and RE5 certification.A relevant 3-to-4-year qualification consisting of Legal or Finance.A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in a Legal or Insurance environment.Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance Guidelines and Standards within a Financial Services Sector.If you meet all the requirements specified above, and interested to further the process, kindly contact Patricia Jacobs by sending your detailed CV to ******
