Senior Compliance Officer

Our client is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing compliance processes across the organisation.
What Youll DoConduct compliance monitoring to ensure adherence to legislation, regulations, and internal policies.Track non-compliance issues and implement resolutions effectively.Assist in developing and enhancing compliance controls, procedures, and reporting systems.Prepare compliance reports for internal use and submission to regulatory authorities.Monitor and respond to changes in relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Provide compliance training and administrative support to the compliance manager.Handle FAIS audits, FICA documentation, and vendor application processes.Manage customs duties, VAT, and deferment accounts to ensure smooth operations.Support various departments with banking, labour audits, and legal compliance documents.What Youll NeedA BCom/BA degree or equivalent in Business, Law, or Compliance and Risk Management.At least 3 years experience in a compliance or related role.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong computer literacy in MS Office.In-depth knowledge of FAIS, FICA, and the South African Regulatory Environment in financial services.A valid Code 08 drivers licence and reliable transport.EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
