Job Description: Senior Commissions Debt Specialist The Senior Commissions Debt Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing, administering, and reporting on third-party sales commissions debt within a dynamic distribution environment. This individual is responsible for ensuring accurate tracking and management of commissions, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organizations financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Administration : Oversee the management of all commissions debt for the distribution department. This includes maintaining approved commission processes and databases to monitor outstanding debts and coordinating any necessary legal proceedings related to commission debt. Document and Data Management : Develop and enforce a company-wide document management system that ensures compliance and accuracy in tracking commission-related processes and documentation. Data Collection and Analysis : Conduct thorough research using primary data sources to analyze trends and key themes. Responsibilities include exporting and importing data for analysis while ensuring adherence to legislative requirements. Insights and Reporting : Contribute to the creation of reporting strategies and templates. Analyze data to identify patterns and trends, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders and supporting ad hoc reporting that impacts commission outcomes. Client and Customer Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external parties, ensuring effective communication and management of expectations regarding commissions. Governance and Policy Management : Monitor and review compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulatory codes. Ensure adherence to long-term regulations related to commissions. Innovation : Analyze current processes and identify opportunities for improvement, applying best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Performance Management : Prioritize personal workflow and utilize performance management systems to achieve high standards of productivity and quality in work.
