Main Purpose: To provide service on all boiler-related technical aspects.Key Performance Areas:Execute commissioning program as planned.Develop complete maintenance plans.Configuration management (plant codifications, P&ID compilation, and plant labeling).Develop, maintain and update maintenance and operating procedures, specifications, and standards in accordance with international standards.Ensure AIA involvement and approval where applicable.Identify new business development opportunities.Compile sound business plans.Execute full engineering modification processes.Execute and interpret codes related to boiler, performance, and process measurements.Plan and execute equipment testing.Evaluate performance results.Ensure correct use of calibrated equipment.Conduct boiler chemical cleaning.Any other job-related duties as required from time to time.Portray leadership skills.Able to work independently.Self-motivated.Able to build effective working relationships.Interpersonal communication skills.Sound client liaison.Technical report writing skills.Preferred Requirements:B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree or equivalent in the Mechanical, Electrical, Light current, Control and Instrumentation, or Industrial chemistry field.10 years, preferably 15 years, experience in a similar engineering environment.Knowledge of conditioning monitoring techniques.Ability to interpret testing inspection database reports and computerized management system reports.Knowledge of life cycle management.General craft knowledge.Sound technical knowledge and understanding of the following plant areas and components including commissioning activities:Boiler pressure partsHigh pressure piping (HPP)Milling PlantFuel gas clearing plantBoiler controlFiring equipmentSoot blowingDraught PlantMotors and gear boxesAsh removal plantOverall boiler process optimizationValves
