Senior Co Ordinator / Planner RetailLocation: Durban - KwaZulu NatalAPPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably upmarket ladieswear.Fully computer literate - advanced Excel, Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint; CanvaSync knowledge & processes is beneficial but not essential.Good communication skills with great initiative and a strong work ethic.Pay great attention to detail.Systematic with good organisational skills.Strong anticipation and problem-solving abilities.Good people skills.RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):Lab dips and dyehouse interaction and knowledge.Fabric knowledge - sourcing, printing, dying.Spreadsheet management.Process follow-through; initiating and chasing up fabric and trims orders.Monitoring and providing feedback.Follow through on samples with in-house sample set and Pre-Prod samples from CMT.Cost sheet preparation.Experience with local production coordinating.Trims knowledge and sourcing.Sound planning and scheduling skills.Grading and computerized marker knowledge.Pattern knowledge.Coordinate garment orders from start to finish.Liaise with CMT factories and submit tech packs.Sourcing trims required and generating purchase orders for trims.Measuring fits for BPS, PPS samples to get them sealed with buyers.Purchase fabric for orders and generate purchase orders.Plan production with CMT factories in accordance with briefing.Ensure timeous delivery dates are met and any delays are avoided.Constant communication with management and updating shared online schedules regarding the status of all areas of production orders.Preparing cut sheets correctly for Cutting Room - internal and external CMT.Ordering markers as required for cut sheet, checking ratings and layouts are correct on mini plots.Reporting back to management on a daily basis.Liaising with QA.
