Senior Cloud Engineer

Qualifications and Experienced Required 5 years of experience working as a Senior Cloud Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.Proficiency in managing Azure services such as VMs, storage accounts, networks, Azure AD, and Intune.Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.Solid understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud environments, including virtual networks, VMs, storage, and security features.Configure and manage Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) to support single sign-on (SSO), user authentication, and access control.Implement, manage and ongoing enhancements to Microsoft Intune for mobile device management (MDM) and endpoint management and security.Administer Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams.Develop and implement solutions to automate software updates and patch management processes.Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that align with business objectives.Stay current with emerging cloud technologies best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
