About the job Senior Client Project ManagerKey purpose:To be responsible for managing the day-to-day running and delivery of projects for Data and Analytics by consistently applying project management knowledge, skills and personal characteristics to deliver projects that meet stakeholder/client requirements.Duties and responsibilities:Initiate project: Design and Apply an Appropriate Project Management Framework for the ProjectPlan, execute and monitor the ProjectManage Project RisksEffectively identify, analyse, weigh and select action plans to counter risks affecting the project success (Risk response plan)Aid team in identifying potential risks as and when the need arisesSuccessfully manage conflicts between members of the teamEffectively solve problems that arise during the course of a projectEffectively manage in order to minimise any and all risk and exposure to the company on a projectManage Human ResourcesBuild an effective project management team in order to ensure the successful completion of the project with the required quality deliverables in the time allowedEffectively manage the groups dynamics in order to ensure that the team works harmoniously and delivers successfullyRegularly review the status reports of team membersManage Communication with Stakeholders, Clients and Team MembersFacilitate team and client meetings effectivelyHold regular status meetings with project teamKeep project team well informed of any and all changes that affect themManage and execute Project AdministrationSuccessfully document all processes through minutes of meetings, progress reports, project plans and appropriate information collection, storage and transferring to ensure all stakeholders are up-to-dateEnsure that processes and milestones are well documentedEnsure that detailed records are kept safe (copies made, updated regularly and stored in a safe place)Ensure that all paperwork is up to date and accurateAdministration and maintenance of contractsCapture and approved timesheets weeklyCompile and maintain the project workbookManage Internal OperationsSuggest areas for improvement in internal processes as well as possible solutionsEffectively comply with and help to enforce standard policies and proceduresLiaise with company PFA (Project financial Admin) to ensure Project sales contract is loadedMonitor and report on Project FinancialsDefine invoice intervals i.e., milestone, monthlyReport on Project Financial HealthEnsure project outcomes are accepted and resources releasedMeasure and analyse stakeholder perceptionsAccurately reconcile the budget and actuals when the project comes to an endAccurately compile termination documents and formally close the projectEnsure project is closed on EPM and SAP GTQualifications and experience:Grade 12 (NQF level 4)Prince 2 and Safe Agile Certification5-10 yearsBI experience (advantageous)Knowledge, competencies and skills:Computer LiteracyConflict ManagementGeneral Supervisory KnowledgeIndustrial Relations KnowledgeKnowledge Of Project Management ToolsProject Management KnowledgeStress Management skillsTime And Priority ManagementUnderstand Dimension Datas Business Ethics and Values
