Senior Civil Engineer

Job Description: One of our clients, a reputable consulting firm, with offices across Africa, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to step aboard their team.
Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 6 years' experience in civil engineering, experience in roads will be an advantage.
Experience in the Oil & Gas Environment will be an advantage.
Solid knowledge and understanding of software like Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
Competent with Civil Designer, Civil3D and AutoCAD would be advantageous.
BSc/BEng/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Professional Technologist or in the process of registering.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Defining and understanding specific project scope and deliverables, and managing the submission of competitive proposals.
Functioning as part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members, other engineering disciplines, and contractors.
Coordination and management of the design team.
Planning and management of the engineering aspects of projects in terms of scope, time, costs, and quality.
Prepare Contract administration documentation based on NEC3/ NEC4.
Carries out technical design work to a high standard. Has a sound knowledge of a broad range of civil engineering fields.
Review, update, and modification of drawings.
Technical support and supervision during construction.
