Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join a well-established consulting firm in Polokwane, Limpopo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead complex designs for water and sewage infrastructure systems, covering hydraulic design and development of pump stations, pipelines, canals, reservoirs, and related structures.
Contribute to 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed designs.
Produce key project deliverables like technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation.
Manage and coordinate small, medium, and integrated projects.
Collaborate across various technical and non-technical disciplines and international locations.
Implement effective project controls, including change management processes and design review.
Act as a liaison between Zutari and local municipalities.
Assist in tender preparation and contribute to business development initiatives.
Requirements:
BEng or BTech in Civil Engineering
PrEng or PrTech registration with ECSA.
Minimum of 8 years' experience within water infrastructure.
Proficiency in Civil3D, Revit, and/or Bentley (WaterGEMS and Surge).
Fluent in at least Sepedi and English.
At least 7 years of experience working on engineering and/or managing medium to large integrated and multidisciplinary projects, preferably within water, or at least large components thereof.
Holistic understanding of water management and related challenges applicable to water end-users (e.g., private clients in the mining, manufacturing, energy, petroleum, agriculture, and commercial industries), covering water resources, water balances, water storage, water conveyance, and demand management.
Basic understanding of water quality management and treatment technologies will be beneficial, along with a basic understanding of projects at various stages of their lifecycle, from concept to commissioning
