Our core capabilities are Design, Simulation, Assembly, Integration, and Testing. We are looking to expand our CAD Department with a dedicated and hands-on mechanical engineer with experience in aerodynamic design of flight vehicles.

Responsibilities
The main duties to be performed by the successful candidate will be:
Contribute to the mechanical design and development of various aerospace systems and components.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful realization of various aerospace projects.
Design and develop various parts and assemblies in CAD.
Produce various part and assembly technical drawings.
Produce reliable and consistent CAD work that adheres to various internal and global standards.
Procurement, support, and liaising with various suppliers to manufacture according to specifications and within time.
Practice proper configuration and control of CAD data and manage various aspects using PDM (Product Data Management) and PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
Carry out quality control functions to ensure various parts and assemblies are made to specifications.
Provide hands-on assistance with integration and assembly of various R&D (research and development) activities.
Requirements
Execution of the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the position demands the following experience, skills, and knowledge:
Relevant training/education as a mechanical designer.
Expert experience and knowledge of SolidWorks.
At least 6 years of experience in precision machine design and/or aerospace.
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and practices.
Understanding of product lifecycle management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well within a collaborative team.
In addition to the above, the following will be advantageous:
Practical experience and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
SolidWorks PDM experience.
Experience or exposure to product lifecycle management.
Experience or exposure to a CAD office environment.

Special Working Conditions
