Senior Buyer

The central distributor between Sites and Head Office. Communicate with management to assess various supply vendors and inspect the quality of delivered supplies. Audit suppliers as scheduled. Oversee and supervise the buyers and junior buyers.Minimum Requirements:Grade 12A Commercial qualification will be beneficial.Minimum of 4 years Buyer experience preferably in mining or manufacturing.Computer Literate.Reporting skills.Negotiation skills.Leadership skills.People management experience is an added advantage.Critical thinker.Outstanding work ethic.Good communication skills (written and oral).Ability to work in a team.Must be able to work under pressure and extended hours.Knowledge of the mining and crushing industry would be advantageous.Attending to detail to ensure specifications are being met and quality of purchases is up to standard.
