Review and update selling prices, codes, and descriptions, aligning them with overall strategy.

Drive market analysis and competitive insights to inform category buying strategies, identifying market gaps and customer needs.
Lead the product selection process, ensuring alignment with customer preferences and market trends.

Conduct monthly reviews of catalogue performance, analysing KPIs such as sales value, margin, GP%, and units sold, adjusting strategies as needed.
Collaborate with demand planning to align stock levels with sales forecasts, ensuring optimal inventory management.
Develop and execute strategic plans for campaigns, brand guidelines, and product training, ensuring smooth execution across teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to secure the best possible deals.
Monitor supplier performance, working with operations to resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, and compliance.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels, reducing excess stock, and managing slow-moving items.
Collaborate with demand planning to align stock levels with campaign plans and sales forecasts.
Manage the buying budget, ensuring purchasing activities stay within financial constraints and reporting key financial metrics such as cost savings and profitability.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buying role, preferably in the retail sector.
Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with inventory management software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
