Senior Business Specialist
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to coordinate and develop Centres of Excellence (CoE) to serve across multiple domains that benefit from scale, including Managed Cloud and Security, Managed Connectivity, Managed IoT, Digital Business Marketplace, Portfolio Companies, and other Managed ServicesThis multidisciplinary role requires a self-starter with a hands-on approach, capable of navigating complex environments and leading diverse initiatives.You will be responsible for business case development, strategy formulation, programme coordination across various stakeholders, and crafting compelling PowerPoint presentations to convey complex concepts and business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the development of Centres of Excellence (CoE) across multiple domains, ensuring efficient and scalable delivery of managed services.Develop business cases, strategies, and operating models to drive the most efficient product strategies across markets, despite the unique constraints of each operating company.Coordinate cross-functional programs and projects, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.Utilize strong analytical skills to conduct robust analysis, driving consensus through collaboration and persuasion rather than command and control.Prepare and present complex concepts and opportunities in PowerPoint to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and impact.Facilitate the deployment of standardized managed services across diverse African markets, focusing on speed, efficiency, and operational excellence.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Broad understanding of Enterprise Managed Services across multiple domains, including Cloud, Security, Connectivity, IoT, and Digital Business Solutions.Proven track record of delivering effective managed services in multiple African markets, driving standardization while accommodating market-specific constraints.Strong business acumen with the ability to develop strategic business cases and operating models that maximize efficiency and scalability.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and drive buy-in from diverse stakeholders.Collaborative mindset, with the ability to build consensus across cross-functional teams in a group structure.Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to perform detailed analysis and craft compelling presentations.Consulting experience, with a focus on delivering managed services or enterprise solutions.
Qualifications & Experience:
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.Minimum of 10+ years of experience, preferably within Professional Services and Consulting Firms.Proven experience in coordinating and delivering managed services across multiple African markets.
Personal Attributes:
Self-starter with a hands-on approach and willingness to "roll up sleeves" to get the work done.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a complex, multi-market environment.Ability to navigate through ambiguity, drive alignment, and deliver results in a collaborative manner.This is a high-impact role that will directly contribute to the success and growth of Business across its African markets, making a significant difference in the standardization and scalability of services delivered across the group.
