COMPANY OVERVIEW We are a leading player in the renewable energy sector, as an EPC contractor and Independent Power Producer (IPP) enabling us to deliver innovative solutions to combat climate change. We are a focused solutions provider to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers, with projects spanning across Southern Africa and include roof top, carport, ground mount and wheeled solar projects. We also provide operations and maintenance, asset management, metering and monitoring services through our various divisions.
As we continue to expand our operations and our expertise in battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and maintain our status as the leading C&I IPP, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team.
PURPOSE As a senior member of the team, the Senior BDM is responsible for developing client relationships to enhance market presence and drive revenues and profitability to ensure sustainable long term business growth. The successful candidate will identify and qualify sales leads, build pipeline and drive strategic growth of the business, with a specific focus on facilitating C-suite negotiations and closing of larger deals.

Technical knowledge of renewable energy solutions (specifically PV & Storage)
Minimum 8 - 10 years relevant experience preferably in Renewable EnergyExposure to renewable projects of 5 -100+ MWCommercial and Industrial experience preferableProject finance modelling experience preferableDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary Responsibilities: Will be responsible for End to End process for strategic Business DevelopmentDevelopment and execution of sales strategy for the companyBuilding and managing the company pipeline & managing the sales/BD process from proposal through to negotiations and closeWork closely with Engineering to optimise customer value through proposed solutionsAnticipating and reacting to major market changes to maintain company leadershipIdentify opportunities and risks for delivering the company's sales and market capture strategy
