The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling the approach (strategy document and business case) for our core system upgrade project.You will be required to perform detailed requirement analysis, documenting processes as well as performing a gap analysis between existing and new functionality. You will define the detailed requirements for system implementation resulting from the gap analysis performed. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the Business Solutions Manager.Main duties and responsibilities:Business case definitionProcess and data mappingEnsuring solutions meet business needs and requirementsGAP analysis between current and new versions of the systemFull range of business requirements analysis and definition (including but not limited to functional, non-functional, and data requirements)TestingFully involved in the Software Development Life Cycle (agile and hybrid) and project deliveryEssential Experience:At least 5 years direct experience in Unit Trust and LISP (Discretionary and Life and Retirement Products) administration with in-depth knowledge of the products, legislative reporting, and operational processes that support the administration of these products.Very good understanding of the end-to-end administration processes and systems that support these.At least 5 years of experience in a senior BA role with proven experience in Business Case definition, process, and business analysis on medium to large projects.Proven ability to abstract detail into models.Strong in understanding project implementation necessities.Proven track record of driving and implementing improvements.Experience in Agile and Waterfall.Competencies and ideal personality attributes:Keen attention to detail, passionate about exceptional client servicesOrganized and structuredProven analytical and critical thinking skillsUnquestionable integrityProactive, self-managed, a sense of urgency, and completely outcomes drivenPositive and Professional, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to be agile in approach i.e., to adjust and adapt quickly and change direction where necessary.Well versed in the BABOK tools and techniques
