The overall responsibility of the Business Analyst is to be a liaison between key enterprise customers and the project team, using or determining the customer needs and converting it to business requirements.Critical Requirements - Skills, Experience & QualificationsQualification and Certification- Matric or Grade 12 Essential- IT Qualification (certification, diploma, degree)- BA certification, preferably FTI DiplomaExperience- Minimum 3-5 years experience in projects as a Business Analyst- OpenText product experience will be an advantageCompetencies- Experience in communicating with clients and eliciting and facilitating requirement workshops- Experience in performing Business Process Modelling- Exposure to Case Modelling using Case Management Modelling Notation (CMMN) preferable- Experience in Data Modelling based on Entity Diagram Mapping- Proficient in using Microsoft Visio diagramming tool- Appropriate Sharepoint SkillsAbilities- Problem Solving and critical thinking skills- Previous experience as a BA or demonstrable experience in eliciting business requirements and process modelling- Implement practices for gathering, reviewing and analyzing data requirements- Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups- Business process modeling, traceability and quality management techniques- Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent customer facing/customer service skills- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines- Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information- Self-motivation and able to take responsibility- Able to manage and prioritise tasks and time efficiently- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasksDatacentrix is a leading, empowered ICT integrator that provides high performing and secure ICT solutions to corporate South Africa and the country's public services sector.
