Introduction
Clicks is on the hunt for an exceptional Senior Business Analyst. The main purpose of the job is to obtain, analyse, specify and validate the business needs of business and IT projects.
Job description Required to work on medium/high impact solutions that may or may not span multiple business areas. Work under general direction within a clearly defined accountability framework. Gather, elicit, interpret requirements and clearly document business and systems requirements. Participate in the solution design process. Prepare the requirements specifications. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies. Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; Project scoping, feasibility studies and risk assessments; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities. Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, providing necessary guidance to testers during the QA process. Identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction. Analyse and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes. Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations. Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates. Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines. Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements. Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up-to-date on project results. Minimum requirements Education & Experience: Relevant tertiary IT qualification or qualification through experience (Essential). Diploma in Business Analysis from industry recognised Training Institution (Desired). 7 to 9 Years experience as a business analyst (Essential). 4 to 5 Years working in a project management environment (Desired). 4 to 5 Years systems analyst experience or substantial business experience (Desired). Have a well-rounded technical understanding of: (Desired) Medical aid switching. SEP regulated pricing. Healthcare software (Unisolv, Marconi, Apollo, Allegra) POS software (Storeline). Job related skills & Knowledge: Facilitation skills. Interpersonal skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Analytical thinking and problem solving. Technical writing skills. Skilled in the use of business analysis tools and techniques, including the preparation of business cases, facilitation and interviewing, context diagramming, business process analysis, event-driven process modelling, data modelling, location analysis and organization analysis. Must have experience working on medium to large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business.
