Senior Business Analyst (Asset Management)

As a Senior Business Analyst - Reporting Solutions, you will play a pivotal role within our team, focusing on the operational transformation project (Ops Model). Your primary responsibility will be to implement robust reporting solutions aligned with our new operating model, utilizing Agile methodologies for efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including Business Analysts, Developers, and Architects, to define and understand solution requirements and architectural impacts.Lead Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions to gather and refine requirements with business users and technical teams.Develop detailed documentation of system and reporting solutions, including process flows and functional specifications.Utilize SQL for data analysis to troubleshoot issues, interpret data, and ensure consistency across systems.Analyze data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights for informed business decisions.Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable solutions that meet stakeholder needs.Support user acceptance testing, software testing, and provide training to end users for seamless adoption of solutions.Manage and execute solution implementations in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of handling complex issues across multiple systems.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and influence senior stakeholders.Self-motivated with the ability to perform well under pressure and manage workload effectively.Comfortable with Agile methodologies and adaptable to change.Eagerness to learn and stay updated with the latest tools and techniques in data analysis and reporting efficiencies.Expertise:Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT business analyst role within asset management.Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data handling and manipulation.Understanding of data visualization tools such as Power BI is advantageous.Knowledge of Asset Management business processes and back-office operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (e.g., BCom, B Bus Science).
