Wartburg Area – KwaZulu Natal: Our client seeks to appoint a Senior Broiler Breeders & Livestock Manager.
The purpose of this position is to manage all operational activities of the broiler breeders and livestock on the farm.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Agricultural Diploma/Degree specialising in poultry & poultry production advantageousMinimum of 8 previous years' experience in farm managementExperience working with Broiler breeder chickens essentialExperience working in agriculture (livestock – cattle)Excellent management and leadership skillsGreat stockmanshipStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to speak Zulu advantageousAbility to work with and lead a teamBeing maintenance orientated essentialValid driver's licenseRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: In charge of supervising house clean outs, placements, vaccinations etc in the poultryResponsible for the dipping, branding etc in cattleAny other reasonable instruction that maybe requested by management from time to timeONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
