As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will design, evaluate, and analyze highway bridges.
What are the core responsibilities for the role?Prepare or lead structural design, analysis, studies, reports, plans, specifications, and quantity tasks for transportation structuresExperience in bridge designs and load ratings using spreadsheets, finite element software and/or other bridge and CAD software (Excel, CSI Bridge, OpenRoads, OpenBridge, AASHTOWare BrR, Leap Products, etc)Experience with the design of multiple bridge types in concrete and steel, wall systems, and minor structuresEstablish and maintain client relationships; ensure client satisfaction; ensure client objectives are metExperience with AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI, and other North American design codesStrong people skills and an ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environmentStructures lead for projects, coordinating staff and design effortsCoordinate with other discipline leadsA desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goals Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:Registered Utah PE License, or ability to obtain with 6 months after hire8 to 12+ years of experience in transportation structures designWillingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices.
