Senior Bridge Engineer (POS24275)RosebankR1,5m per annumPurpose:Design of bridges and associated transport related structural elements.Requirements:BSc (Civil Engineering), or BTech (Civil/Structural Engineering)Pr Eng or Pr Tech (ECSA) registrationRegistered Bridge Inspector will be an advantage8 years plus experience in Bridge DesignDetailed knowledge of Finite Element Design Software such as Sofistik/Prokon/AutoCAD/Revit.Preparation of Contract Documentation, specifications and schedules of quantitiesKnowledge of SANRAL processes will be an advantageExperience in bridge hydrology and hydraulics will be an advantageExperience in design of feature bridges will be an advantageKey Performance Areas:Design of bridges and associated road structural elements.Able to work unsupervised with efficient time managementAble to lead a design team and work under pressureManage the design process of projects.Ensure that project budgets are adhered to.Assist in preparation of proposals.Technical Report writing.Feasibility studies as required by Project ManagersEntrepreneurial with high business acumenRequirements QualificationsClosing Date: 30 September 2024
