Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualise & designing world class retail window and in-store spaces with our Visual teams
Design – build concepts through researching trends on colours, design, layout & typography to deliver on brand
Designing of marketing communications as well as content generation to be used across all digital channels
Research trending and propping and able to present back to teams
Be able to effectively visualise concepts (2+3D) and drive translation with design and Visual teams
Briefing internal or external partners to execute concept
Ensuring work is delivered on time & in budget
Custodian of the Markham CI – across all channels
Manage the creation of marketing material from concept and design to final artwork
Conceptualise and production of fresh ideas for online /digital material
Presenting designs, concepts to departments and incorporates their feedback into the final designs.
Assist production process to ensure that the designs meet highest quality of print and digital standards.
Collaborating with other departments: - working closely with other departments, such as creative manager, marketing managers, and product managers, to ensure the visual designs align with the overall marketing strategy
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 4 years' experience as an art director in an advertising agency
Has a minimum of a 3-year qualification (Diploma/Degree) in Graphic Design
Well-versed in digital (digital art direction experience is essential)
Experience with brand design and brand identity
A portfolio showcasing your work and experience
Understand printing, repro, photography & digital process
Understanding of best practice for print – NB
Efficient use of (Apple Mac) DTP system, Illustrator as well as Photoshop, and InDesign is essential, premier pro (adobe) or after affects & Adobe suite
High level of creativity and has the ability to be innovative
Proficient in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote etc.)
