Senior Bookkeeper

Somerset West – Starting date January 2025. My client, a thriving real estate company, dedicated to excellence in every facet of their operations, is seeking to employ a financial controller / senior bookkeeper to join their team who will help ensure the continued success of the company's ventures.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Bookkeeping up to Trial BalanceManaging Creditors and DebtorsCompiling month end packsHandling trust accounts with precisionUtilizing banking experience to streamline financial transactionsPreparing and reviewing monthly reconciliations for various departmentsEnsuring timely and accurate VAT submissionsConducting Audit reconciliations and preparationExperience in cash flow management and budgeting is advantageousProperty industry experience is desirableHandling payroll responsibilities on a daily, weekly and monthly basisManaging statutory submissions including EMP201, 501's WCA and UIFOverseeing leave and HR admin tasksRequirements include:Post matric qualificationKnowledge in the following Systems: Xero, PaySpace and Microsoft OfficeAdvanced Excel skills including experience with formulasHighly motivated, detail orientated team playerProblem solving skillsDeadline driven mindset
