Senior Bookkeeper

A leading financial services firm is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper! This person will resume responsibility for the full accounting finance on daily, weekly and monthly timelines for the company.Duties:Execute month end reporting proceduresPrepare relevant journals preparationUndertake sub-ledger reconciliations to the general ledgerBalance sheet substantiation with reconciliationsPerform and assist in the billing process (purchase order, invoicing)Inter-company reconciliations and confirmationsSub-ledger analysisDebtors ageingCreditors ageingFixed asset register (maintenance and depreciation postings)Support the statutory audit processAnnual budgeting & forecastingRegular analysis comparing budget to actual results and forecastsMonthly reporting & preparation of actuals with commentaryPreparation of payments and cashbookInternal Controls - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures including finance community guidelinesReconciliation to accounting records/ERPJob Experience & Skills Required:Completed qualification in Accounting.3-5 years' experience in bookkeeping or accounting.Experience with Sage Evolution and Pastel Evolution would be beneficial.Experience from hospitality industry or gaming would be beneficial.If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply directly.
