About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team in Spartan, Kempton Park. The ideal candidate will manage a book value of R80 million per annum and growing, utilising Xero and Navision for stock and sales. Experience within retail preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all bookkeeping activities up to trial balance and hand over to Accountants.
Handle payroll preparation ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Conduct stock takes twice a year, maintaining accurate records.
Oversee property management-related bookkeeping tasks.
Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
Assist in various capacities, ensuring smooth operations within the finance department.

Requirements

A relevant qualification in Accounting or Finance.
A minimum of 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper within the retail industry.
Proficiency in Xero and Navision or any other retail POS, particularly in stock and sales management.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
