Senior Bookkeeper PositionMy client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.This will be to handle Bank reconciliations for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable up until Trial Balance.Minimum Requirements:MatricMinimum 5 years relevant experienceCargoWise experience is beneficialFreight Forwarding industry experience is preferredDuties and Responsibilities:Ensuring that the company's financial records are accurately recorded and consistently maintained within deadlines, in line with generally accepted accounting standards, regulatory and company policy.Complete bookkeeping to trial balance.Process supplier invoices and goods received notes.Handle international payments, customer invoicing, proforma invoices, credit notes, and debit notes.Perform bank reconciliation and complete VAT reconciliation and submissions.Manage Debtors and Creditors accounts.Prepare month-end journals, calculations, and revaluations to ensure accurate financial reporting.Abilities Required:Attention to detail & accuracy.Ability to work under pressure.Reliable and accountable.Ability to listen to instruction and capture data in a timely and efficient manner.NO PHONE CALLS NOR WALK-INS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
