Letsitele Area – Limpopo: Our client is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join the team.
Only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Grade 12Diploma or university degree majoring in accounting.Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in accountingKnowledge of Pastel accounting will be a prerequisiteCOMPETENCIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED Effective handling of detailed information and consistent attention to detailMaintaining an effective performance under pressureSystematically organising activities and setting time frames and prioritiesExcellent communication skills (verbal and written in Afrikaans and English)Ability to perform calculations and prepare detailed reports.Operate Microsoft Office programs.Excellent problem-solving capabilities.Must be able to take initiative.Must be a team player.Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes.Driver's licence will be a prerequisite.DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Processing of data on Pastel accounting to trial balance.Responsible for training requirements and recording.Ensure that correct procedures are followed for statutory reporting, completion of documents, submissions and payments are done timeously, i.e. VAT, EMP201.Assist with internal and external audits conducted in the company.Ensure payments for creditors, the management of debtors and the control of cash flow. Participate and preparation of annual budgets.Perform general administrative duties as requested by the group financial manager and general manager as per job descriptionONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
