Role: Bookkeeper (Hybrid - work from home with one office day per week) Location: Hermanus Salary: Market - related Role and Responsibilities: VAT, PAYE, and Payroll Management: Handle all aspects of VAT, PAYE, and payroll processing. Debtors & Creditors: Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently. CIPC Work: Oversee company registrations and compliance with CIPC requirements. Accounting Software: Proficient use of Pastel and Sage Online to manage and report on financial data. Client Interaction: Visit clients in the Hermanus area as needed, providing on-site support and building strong relationships. SARS Liaison: Communicate with SARS, demonstrating patience and determination to resolve any issues. Requirements: Experience: Previous experience in an accounting practice environment is essential. Skills: Proficient in Pastel and Sage Online. Strong understanding of VAT, PAYE, payroll, debtors & creditors, and CIPC work. Location: Must be based in the Hermanus area for client visits.
