A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your applicationEMPLOYMENT TYPE : PermanentSECTOR : FinancialBASIC SALARY : R25 000.00 R35 000.00 (depending on experience)START DATE : 01 February 2025REQUIREMENTS:MatricCertificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping or Financial Accounting is essential2-3 years experience in a similar role within legal or professional servicesMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial accounting packagesMust have Trust and Business Account experience this is none negotiable DUTIES:Reconcile bank statementsDaily cash flowPrinting receipts and preparing documentsDaily bankingPetty cash and petty cash reconciliationCapturing Investec bank interestCapturing Sheriffs return serviceCapturing drivers travel claimsFiling of AJS postings, audit trails and retuned chequesLiaising with ABSA regarding bank queries of directorsAssisting Auditors with queriesEEA reporting (Annually) The functions of this role will include but not limited to, the following:Preparation of EFT payments/transfers between accounts and loading thereof onto system for approval, Reconciling petty cash, General Ledger Accounting up until Trial Balance, Debtors and Creditors function, Assist Financial Bookkeeper with SARS E-filing for PAYE/UIF/SDL and VAT returnsMaintaining Fixed Asset Register, Filing and date stamping of all purchases, receipts, and mail correspondence of all accounting related matters, Assist the Financial Bookkeeper in the preparation of designated schedules and Ad-hoc duties as required HOURS:Monday to Friday: 08:30 16:30
