Senior Bookkeeper/ Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper/ Accountant to join their team in Cape Town.
The successful candidate would be responsible for provide the necessary accounting and administrative support to Senior Management for the client and any other of the clients subsidiaries.
Requirements: Applicable qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping with relevant working experience.
Registered Tax Practitioner  (non-negotiable).
Must be willing and able to perform Payroll duties  (non-negotiable).
Knowledge and good understanding of Accounting and Expense Capturing Software.
Xero – Accounting software Expensify – Credit card receipts Dext – Invoice processing ApprovalMax – Invoice approval PaySpace – Payroll & HR software  Excellent in the use of SARS software and programmes (EasyFile and eFiling).
Competent in the use of GSuite and/or Office 365 as supporting tools.
Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities: Banking and Cashflow Sales and Debtors Control Purchases and Creditors Control Management of Petty Cash Payroll Human Resources Tax Reporting Budgeting and Forecasting NOTE - There will also be required duties for the client's subsidiary company(s).
Salary: Market related and negotiable.
