Role Responsibilities: Overall accountable for the successful implementation of BIM processes and standards on all projects delivered by the Water business unit.Organise and lead weekly interdisciplinary model coordination meetings to resolve interface issues and maintain consistent Level of Information Need (LOIN).Establish project BIM coordination & collaboration strategy via workflow diagrams.Initiate and maintain cadence of model federation with all project stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information exchange.Work closely with the BIM Manager and/or discipline leads to apply innovation by leading the development of new tools within existing software and investigate the use of other software to complement or replace existing software to increase productivity.Support the BIM Manager and/or discipline leads in developing in-house digital tools such as scripts and add-ins to automate repetitive models and processes.Capture improvements to or expansion of the Zutari baseline content library and feed back into data platform and content templates.Develop suitable training material for the water unit on the software applications and processes.Assess all Modellers and Drafters digital skills and develop a training plan for each individual.Provide training for Modellers and Drafters on the software packages and processes.Coordinate with mechanical, civil, structural, and electrical disciplines.Work closely with Technicians, Technologists, and Engineers.Develop Revit families, 3D part libraries and standard details.Interpret engineering design sketches and drawings.Interpret as-built drawings of brownfields infrastructure.Manage and check the quality of deliverables, specifically models and 2D drawings.Maintain digital models and project records in accordance with Zutari's quality management system.Evaluate and test BIM technologies/workflows as required by the project and ISO19650.Collaborate with the IT team/BIM Manager/discipline leads to address technical challenges in relation to BIM software and collaboration platforms at start of and during project.Minimum qualifications: Diploma / Certificate in Computer Aided Design (CAD) or 3D digital design or equivalent qualification in a digital discipline.Minimum of 7 years' experience in 3D modelling and use of 3D modelling software.A willingness to learn and investigate technological systems.A strong interest in working on innovative and complex projects.Preference will be given to applicants who: Possess a tertiary level qualification in an Engineering discipline.Possess previous experience in the water industry (bulk conveyance, pump stations, treatment plants, dams, and hydropower).Possess structural design and steel detailing experience.We believe that a diverse workforce is key to our business success.
