Senior Billing Specialist

This role involves managing client billing accurately, maintaining account balances, and building strong relationships with clients and internal teams to support the company's high standards of service.Roles & ResponsibilitiesReview and verify billing details before generating invoices and statements.Prepare and issue invoices, statements, and credit notes according to billing guidelines.Address billing issues and disputes while maintaining positive client relationships.Conduct credit checks on clients in line with company policies.Onboard new clients efficiently.Assist with business development and support new client applications.Collaborate with development and operations teams on project initiatives.Keep precise records of all billing transactions.Ensure accurate client balances through transaction allocations.Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on overdue payments.Qualifications & Experience3–5+ years of experience in debtors management, ideally within an ISP or IoT-focused company, along with an accounting certification.Strong Excel skills.Familiarity with accounting software and fundamental accounting principles.Basic knowledge of tax and VAT.Project management skills for efficient task handling.Experience processing billing in multiple currencies.SalaryR25k - R35k CTC per month
