An award-winning full service law firm is seeking a Senior Bid Manager to work within the national tenders and bids team and lead activity across the UK. This position has high-level of exposure to the partnership and has a key focus across all sectors, service lines and offices. You will report to the Associate Directors and will be based in any of the firm's offices.
The Responsibilities: Collaboratively working as part of a team to identify and log opportunities for bid planning, scoping, and drafting responsesTake ownership and lead on bid planning, preparation, delivery, debrief and all aspects of bid responsesAble to coach teams in rehearsing for presentations and interviews and lead internal and external debriefsDrive bids forward through well-planned, and controlled processes using project management skillsContributing to best practice on win strategy for each bid, including consideration of commercial strategies and the reasons for adopting those strategiesWorking with lawyers to formulate models for an attractive and profitable offerThe Candidate: Experience of managing bids in a law firmAbility to work effectively, including under pressure, to meet multiple deadlinesStrong time and project management skills and techniques to help create and manage complex plansAbility to work in a team and autonomouslyPossess excellent interpersonal and relationship skillsProficient with Microsoft packagesExcellent writing, communication and influencing skillsPlease note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm or a high profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
