Job OverviewHutech Head Office seeks a highly skilled Senior Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be expected to perform various tasks including minor and major services, engine removal and replacement, engine strip and assemble, gearbox removal and replacement, braking systems, steering, suspension, differentials, electrical diagnostics, and mechanical diagnostics.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a valid South African driver's license, senior certificate, trade test certificate, and a fully stocked toolbox. Additionally, you should have at least 5 years of post-trade certification experience and be proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ISTA Beneficial.Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to take instructions and complete tasks independently, work effectively without overstepping boundaries, and have a strong ability to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues.Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is R180,000 per annum, which is market-related for the Durban Upper Highway area. This figure may vary based on individual qualifications and experience.
