Purpose of JobJobholders at this level are capable of operating with minimal supervision. They work within guidelines and procedures in order to prepare more complex, specialized or ad hoc reports to their related field. They undertake operational activities including performing complete tax audits on refunds' requests for all tax types including examination and desk audits on large accounts in order to identify non-compliance and actual tax credits within applicable policies and procedures.Job ResposiblitesReview and study refund policies to remain current on refund limit utilization, refund risk control authorizations and applicable margins and ensure adherence ZATCA's rules, regulations, policies and proceduresDevelop and update assessment templates and audit tools in accordance with operational procedures and policies to facilitate customer request analysis and safeguard timely evaluationConsolidate, categorize and prioritize refunds' requests and schedules, sort by tax/industry type and ensure dispatch to relevant audit teams for assessment and reviewStudy and assess taxpayers' financial status, income statements, financial strength and capabilities, and revenue streams to compare with benchmarks and similar industries and decide on assessment approach (actual, estimated, reduced assessments)Monitor taxpayer objections and appeals and ensure coordination with Legal Affairs or AMANA to resolve disputes and support in key testimonies by providing clarifications on final audit findings and resultsDraft refunds' audit reports to highlight recommendations and conclusions along with relevant evidence, proofs and supporting documents and escalate for revision and verificationFollow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerJob DetailsCoordinate with Collection function to submit refunds audit reports for reconciliationCommunication and ContacsEductaionBachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent is requiredExperienceA minimum of 2 years of relevant experienceCompetenciesTax Audit Management - ProficientTax Audit Techniques and Execution - DevelopingCommunication - DevelopingProfessionalism - DevelopingBroad Taxation Awareness - DevelopingTax Audit Planning - DevelopingResults Oriented - DevelopingCustomer Focus - DevelopingChange Enabler - Developing
