Its management has vast experience in internal audits, risk management, financial management, and related fields aimed at improving our client's business.Role DescriptionSotobe is currently recruiting for an experienced Audit Manager in internal audit to undertake risk-based audits within our public sector clients. This is a contract, on-site role located in KwaZulu Natal.The Audit Manager will be responsible for overall assurance engagement within internal audit from planning, execution, and reporting in line with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing to provide quality audit results.KPAPlan and execute risk-based internal auditsProvide consulting services to clientsDraft audit reports and present final findings to the clientProvide on-the-job coaching to internal auditors and traineesSupervise internal audit teams on multiple auditsApply internal audit specific policies, procedures, methodologies, and standardsManage the delivery of each assignment in line with scope and limitationsQualifications and ExperienceBCom honours degree with relevant internal audit qualificationCA (SA)/CIA advantageousMember with SACIA/IIAAt least 5 years' experience in a consulting role in governance, risk, and compliance, of which 2 years' experience as a senior auditor or supervisor in a public sector environment.CompetenciesA thorough knowledge of IIA standards and best practicesStrong project management and multi-tasking skillsProven ability to manage clients, teams, and other relevant stakeholdersKnowledge of internal audit methodologiesWillingness to travelLocationKwaZulu NatalMobilityTravelling is a requirement for this role.DurationMaximum of three (3) monthsEstimated Start DateFrom October 2024SalaryNegotiable
