Founded in 1905 as the Straits Settlements and Federated Malay States Government Medical School, NUS is the oldest higher education institution in Singapore.Job DescriptionThe incumbent will play a key role in working closely with the School's stakeholders involved in undergraduate medical education, particularly senior leadership and key administrative partners of healthcare institutions, to ensure that funding for training medical students is accurately disbursed, payment disputes are resolved satisfactorily, and compile data for reporting purposes. The incumbent will also be responsible for the Division budget management, development of SOPs and guidelines, as well as participate in quality improvement projects.Compute PECT funding for Clinical Postings/Teaching Activities and Clinical Exam Contributions for all Healthcare Institutions that are teaching our students.Management of and Reporting on PECT Funding with an annual budget of $65m.Manage PECT Funding and Providing guidance and communications on PECT matters.Manage Education Division Budget.Quality improvement project: Participate in the business process re-engineering project to establish an Education appointment and PECT payment app and dashboard.Qualifications• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/Administration, Accountancy or related fields• Candidates should ideally have at least 5 years of work experience in a finance or accounting role.• Highly self-motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as in a team.• Analytical, meticulous and adaptable in a fast-moving high-pressure environment.• Possess good organization and communication skills to handle stakeholders of various levels.• Tact and discretion in handling sensitive information.• Work experience in the healthcare industry, institutes of higher learning or public service would be advantageous.More InformationLocation: Kent Ridge CampusOrganization: Yong Loo Lin School of MedicineDepartment: Dean-Med-Education - Educational Partnership for ExcellenceEmployee Referral Eligible:Job requisition ID: 23373
