If you have a strong background in LISP retirement and life products and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.To manage processing and client service activities for various retirement and post-retirement products.Key Relationships: Internal clients advice and advice assistants.PAS team.Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualification or B Com degree in finance or business management.5 years experience in LISP retirement and life products.Computer Competency Requirements: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.Core Competencies: Strong administrative skills.Highly methodical.Self-starter with a broad task capability.Strong numerical skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent time management.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Knowledge Requirements: In-depth understanding of the financial services industry and products.Familiarity with retirement funds and life products.Personal Attributes: Excellent interpersonal skills.Client-oriented.High emotional intelligence.Key Performance Areas / Strategic Business Deliverables:Technical Oversight and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory rules and controls regarding legal administration.Collaborate with the legal and compliance team to address regulatory changes impacting legal administration.Represent the team in internal governance and management forums, such as trustee boards for retirement funds.Update key processes and maintain the knowledge base in line with regulatory and business rules related to legal administration.Process Management: Administer and oversee processing of death, disability, divorce orders, and maintenance claims.Manage retirement, pre-retirement, and emigration withdrawals.Handle transfers related to Retirement Funds and Living Annuities.Process maintenance instructions including switches, change of details, and Annuity Revaluations.Resolve complex cases.Apply or cancel relevant Tax Directives and ROT applications on ITax as needed.Complete manual ROT requests and forms related to transfers.Liaise with external suppliers regarding transfers, withdrawals, and claims within SLA.Review and authorize legal administration team cases.Experience in retirement s37 death benefit allocation investigations is advantageous.Ensure all workflow items are actioned daily with clear notes on the workflow system.Support to Operations Team Leader:Assist in managing legal administration operational risks through: Case reviews.Monitoring workflow items near or over SLA.Reviewing pending cases.Assessing key risk metrics like outstanding ROTs and complaints.
