Job OpportunityOur Client, established for 25 years, has a diverse range of service offerings, primarily serving clients in the medical space. The ideal candidate will provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements and tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize tax strategies and minimize tax liabilities.Duties & ResponsibilitiesManage full accounting and tax function portfolioProduce monthly management reportsFull accounting function to trial balanceDraft annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors on CaseWareProvide advice on all tax and accounting mattersExperience with e-filingWork under pressure and meet deadlinesPrepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies, VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trustsAttend to all SARS correspondenceFile notices of objections and suspension of debt on e-filingConduct themselves in a professional mannerWilling to travel to clientsDesired Experience & QualificationAccounting Degree or Higher DiplomaCompleted ArticlesAffiliations to SAICA, SAIPA, ACC, CIMA, or SAIBA preferredWorking knowledge of PastelKnowledge of CaseWareAt least 3-5 years' experience in an accounting environmentOwn vehicle and valid driver's license is an inherent requirement
