Senior Accountant (Saipa)

Our client seeks a Senior Accountant to support our Nelspruit team. This role requires a BCom qualification and completed SAIPA articles.The Senior Accountant will manage financial record preparation, audit support, and client advisement. Ideal candidates bring solid accounting expertise, analytical skills, and a dedication to accuracy.Responsibilities:Prepare and review financial statements in line with standards.Support audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.Perform general ledger reconciliations and manage month- and year-end closings.Advise clients on financial practices and gather business insights.Mentor junior staff and stay updated on accounting standards.Qualifications:BCom Degree and SAIPA articles completed.Proficient in CaseWare, Pastel, and Excel.Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, VAT, and income tax.Strong communication skills and multitasking ability.
