A can-do attitude and desire to add value and grow are important. The role combines relatively complex reconciliations and some financial analysis, data entry, issuance of invoices, and payment of invoices. It requires someone logical, with strong number skills.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAccounts receivable - prepare and distribute client invoices, update clients' Statement of Accounts (SoAs), follow up with clients about outstanding paymentsExperience with international entities and DTA's highly advantageousPost client invoices in the accounting softwarePost bank statements and perform a bank reconciliationVerify correctness of vendor invoices via an established reconciliation processPost supplier invoicesReconcile and post Senior Management expensesAssist with month-end close and preparation of financial statementsAssist with financial analysis of various projects or initiativesContribute to improving the existing accounting processesBuild cross-functional relationships across the companyPerform ad-hoc assignments as neededRequirementsUniversity degree (Accounting, Business, Economics)3-5 years of experience in accounting or financeInternational Finance experienceWorking knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)Practical knowledge of any other analytical tools is an advantagePractical knowledge of working with an accounting software, preferably QUICKBOOKS ONLINE or XEROPractical and logical approach to resolving business problemsExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishProfessional, proactive, open to learning, 'can do' attitude
