Senior Accountant

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Monitor that all entities remain tax-compliant across various jurisdictionsOversee the full insurance function Ensure all debtor accounts are paid up to dateFollow up on overdue accountsReview and approve the monthly rooftop rental invoicesPrepare management accounts Complete and submit the monthly EMP201 formsReview month-end journals, including provisions, tax entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan accountsReview monthly sales invoicesApprove supplier payments before submission for bank approvalAssist in the review of Financial Statements received from the AuditorsOpen and maintain bank accountsManage Income Tax, VAT, and EMP registrations for new companiesComplete any ad-hoc documentation as requiredReview VAT calculations and returnsAssist with the completion and submission of annual income tax returnsSupport the BEE process and audits Skills & Experience:Completed SAICA or SAIPA articlesA minimum of 3 years of post-article experienceIFRS for SMEsStrong VAT, company tax and SARS knowledgeNetsuite knowledge is advantageous Qualification:Tertiary Degree in FinanceCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on
