Senior Accountant

Well established accounting firm seeks a remote accountant to join our growing team.
We offer a market related salary, work from home option, and flexible working hours.
The successful candidate will be expected to manage their allocated clients ensuring that all their statutory obligations are met.
The work entails mainly the preparation of financial statements together with related accounting and tax duties.
Duties will include but are not limited to: Prepare financial statements.
Full bookkeeping and accounting function up to trial balance, including debtors, creditors, bank, petty cash, journals, etc.
IRP5 calculations, reconciliations and submissions Maintenance of SARS accounts PAYE/UIF/SDL calculations and EMP201 submissions Registration and deregistration for Income Tax, PAYE, VAT UIF registration and administration VAT calculations and VAT201 submissions WCA registrations, submission of returns and arranging letters of good standing Company secretarial / Trust administration The ideal candidate should have completed a SAICA/SAIPA traineeship and should be in possession of at least a B Com/similar degree with 1 year post article experience.
Accounting/Auditing degree at a SAICA accredited university and completed SAICA/SAIPA traineeship Computer literacy.
Pastel and Draftworx experience Be able to work effectively and independently from home Have own laptop and internet access The candidate must be established in George / Mossel Bay / Oudtshoorn/ Beaufort west, Western Cape.
