Senior Accountant

Job Description: As the Senior Accountant your duties and responsibilities could include the following: Ensure all entities maintain tax compliance across various jurisdictions Manage the full insurance function for the Investments and Engineering group, including annual renewals, claims processing, and asset additions Monitor debtor accounts to ensure timely payments, following up on overdue balances Review and approve monthly rooftop rental invoices Prepare management accounts for smaller entities Complete and submit monthly EMP201 forms Review month-end journals, including provisions, tax entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan accounts Assist the accountant with processing monthly sales invoices, as needed Support weekly bank processing, if required Review and approve Livewires reports before generating sales invoices Review monthly sales invoices for accuracy Review supplier payments prior to sending for bank approval Skills & Experience: 5 years post-article experience Experience working on NetSuite Intermediate Excel skills Qualification: Completed Finance or Accounting degree Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles Contact JENELLE COOKSON on 021 418 1750, quoting the Ref: CTF019857.
