Senior Accountant

Job Description:As the Senior Accountant your duties and responsibilities could include the following:Ensure all entities maintain tax compliance across various jurisdictionsManage the full insurance function for the Investments and Engineering group, including annual renewals, claims processing, and asset additionsMonitor debtor accounts to ensure timely payments, following up on overdue balancesReview and approve monthly rooftop rental invoicesPrepare management accounts for smaller entitiesComplete and submit monthly EMP201 formsReview month-end journals, including provisions, tax entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan accountsAssist the accountant with processing monthly sales invoices, as neededSupport weekly bank processing, if requiredReview and approve Livewires reports before generating sales invoicesReview monthly sales invoices for accuracyReview supplier payments prior to sending for bank approval Skills & Experience: 5 years post-article experienceExperience working on NetSuiteIntermediate Excel skillsQualification:Completed Finance or Accounting degreeCompleted SAIPA or SAICA articles Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
