Senior Accountant

Responsibilities and Duties: Provide junior staff with clear direction, goals and objectives. Establish appropriate standards and foster a positive work environment. Offer coaching and training to enhance performance. Conduct audit fieldwork. Prepare clear, concise and error-free financial statements for companies, close corporations, trusts and individuals. Apply technical expertise and analyse data effectively. Finalize and propose audit opinions and financial statements. Complete timesheets accurately. Maintain effective client relationships. Manage personal and team time efficiently. Monitor progress and performance against deadlines and milestones. Minimum Education/Qualifications Required: Completed SAICA training contract - Audit & Assurance elective. CTA completed (preferred). Skills and Experience Required: Knowledge of IFRS and IFRS for SMEs. Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Pastel. Proficient in CaseWare working papers. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Capable of working independently and within a team. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Team management abilities.
