Senior Accountant

Duties: Prepare monthly management accounts, profit/loss statements, and balance sheets.Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records.Maintain and monitor internal controls related to financial processes, ensuring the accuracy of financial data.Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT, PAYE, and provisional tax returns. Maintain the fixed asset register, ensuring accurate depreciation schedules and physical asset verificationAssist in the preparation and analysis of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance reports.Provide support during audits by preparing audit files, reconciliations, and necessary reports.Auditing experience is advantageous.Oversee debtors and creditors, including managing reconciliations and meetings with relevant departments.Qualifications Minimum of 10 years in accountingBCOM Degree CIMA/CA(SA) advantageous
