Senior Accountant

A well-established organization is looking for a dedicated Senior Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing consolidated financial management accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the Finance Manager with audit planning and execution. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage financial deadlines and contribute to the companys financial integrity and growth.Other duties include:Collating, processing, and reconciling finance accounts.Preparing and submitting monthly VAT reconciliations.Overseeing month-end closure and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.Reviewing and reconciling financial general ledgers.Preparing detailed variance analysis for financial and management reports.Assisting with the finalization and review of reports prepared by the Corporate Finance Team.Co-managing external and internal audits alongside the Finance Manager.Education:Completed BCom DegreeJob Experience & Skills Required:4 to 5 years of Accounting experience to Trial Balance.Strong consolidations and Excel skills.In-depth knowledge of RSA Financial Statutory and Tax requirements.Ability to work under pressure, with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.
