Senior Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled  Senior Accountant  with expertise in  Pastel  and  Evolution  accounting systems to join our dynamic finance team.
The ideal candidate will bring exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and extensive experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance.
This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and supporting strategic financial decision-making within the organization Key Responsibilities: Financial Management and Reporting Reconciliations and Analysis Leverage expertise in  Pastel and Evolution  to manage and process financial data efficiently.
Compliance and Taxation Process Improvement Team Leadership and Collaboration Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional qualifications like CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA are an advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
Proven expertise in using  Pastel  and  Evolution  accounting systems.
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
Familiarity with payroll and tax management processes.
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
