Senior Accountant

My client is a pharmaceutical manufacturer listed on the JSE that is involved in the production and marketing of healthcare products across South Africa. The prosperous incumbent will report to the Finance Manager and will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to support decision-making. Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
